Sandals & Beaches resorts & San Services, USA, an IT consultant firm, contracted by the worldwide representative for Sandals & Beaches Resorts, is seeking an Advertising Coordinator. The position will be based in our South Florida locale 33155. The Promotions Coordinator supports the Promotions Team and PR Department, assisting in day-to-day functions. This included the pitching, development and logistics of Nationwide Radio, Retail, Online, Social Media, Theatrical, TV and Brand consumer promotions, develop and maintain promotional brand partnership relationships, and maintain up-to-date files and recaps on all projects- with a focus on Radio Partnerships. The coordinator is expected to be highly proficient in their functional area, manage a challenging, multi-tasked workload, anticipate the needs of their supervisors, assist others as needed and contribute ideas and acquired skills to benefit the entire department.This individual is dependable and displays professionalism when representing the company. Candidate should possess great energy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high degree of organization and time management abilities with an enthusiastic team spirit. JOB ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Work in concert with the Director of Promotions and Sr. Promotions Coordinator to secure local, regional and national consumer promotions, acting as a prize provider for multi-platform giveaways, sweepstakes and contests hosted by external partners- with a focus in radio partners. Proactively research and solicit new promotional partners, as well as cultivate/renew existing ones. Write and edit promotional copy; Select brand imagery; Review, edit and approve promotional collateral/creative materials to best reflect our brand identities Prepare return on investment (ROI reports) and recaps for individual promotions and keep prize inventory organized (promotional reports). Develop & maintain database of all media/marketing contacts for promotions and special events calendars. Assist with preparing the department’s internal Promotional Advisories and external Promotional Partner eblasts Cultivate creative ideas, strategic planning, and make connections between ideas and potential outcomes. Collaborate with multiple departments to execute promotions. Organize and handle all logistics involved in securing live radio remote broadcasts at resort locations. Work radio remote events when needed; Including but not limited to, set-up of promotion and equipment for remote broadcasts, coordination of rooming with arrivals & departures, act as host of planned itinerary, assist with interviews and prep of live/taped broadcasts, etc. Prepare Resort and Company Memos to communicate upcoming special events and promotions, including event resumes for on-resort activations. Liaise with all resort General Managers, PR Officers and Sandals Resorts offices to facilitate special events. Help to conceptualize and organize special events and promotions logistics while ensuring that each event is successful and aligns to our brands- including but not limited to customs/shipping, itineraries, creative assets, gifting, assist in securing flights, and prepare budgets. Attend and participate in industry conventions and client meetings as needed Other typical duties will include answering phones, maintaining databases, customer service, ordering promotional items, filing, media monitoring and other office related tasks COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Four-year college degree required. Preferred in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications Related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-year experience required in promotional event planning, marketing or communications industry.
