Overview

Program Description

URBE University MBA program aims to provide a solid education in offering courses across several functional areas. The MBA degree program requires the completion of 45 credit hours of which 36 credits are core/foundation courses. Each concentration consists of 9 credit hours for each concentration. Additionally, the students will have an opportunity to choose from the following concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, Information Security Management, Management, and Supply Chain Management.

URBE University’s online platform provides students with the latest tools for collaborative virtual learning environment. Each student has the opportunity to study and apply innovative solutions for the courses; collaboration between the faculty and other students; and online resources that help the student to develop the knowledge. Our students learn doing activities in the virtual classroom as well as simulations, group encounters, attending video conferences, among other very practical activities.

This course examines how the design and development of instruction are impacted using a computer as a delivery system. It is a closely supervised experience resulting in a paper that demonstrates student’s ability to synthesize and utilize the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout the MBA program. This consists of 45 direct hours of faculty/group consultation and 90 hours of outside student’s preparation.

Business Research Methods introduces students to the nature, scope, and significance of research and research methodologies. Students will complete an individual research proposal based on a business topic of interest, using the course’s textbooks and selected scholarly and peer reviewed sources.
